Paris Bound is an “oh, you didn’t know?” play: as in,
Oh, you didn’t know that in 1927(!) there was a story about how you don’t give your spouse a hall pass unless you really, really, really, really, really, really, really, REALLY (gasp) really, really, really, really mean it?
We believe Paris Bound has been performed exactly once in Wisconsin, and never by a Wisconsin troupe. In 1931 the Winona (MN) Little Theatre crossed the border for a one-night-stand in La Crosse. On March 28 at 7 PM, Falconbridge presents a staged reading of this freshly public domain tale about the uneasy intersection of love, sex, and marriage. Free and open to the public at Arts + Literature Laboratory, 111 S. Livingston St. in Madison. RSVP on Eventbrite.
